A MARC II BASED SYSTEM: STUDIES ON THE AIR FORCE CAMBRIDGE RESEARCH LIBRARY BIBLIOGRAPHY PROCESSING SYSTEM

Abstract

The central focus of the project was on data encoding and the development of routines, and techniques for the conversion of AFCRL and/or Library of Congress supplied bibliographic data into a machine readable information record format based upon the Library of Congress MARC II communications Format. The system was developed, programmed, and tested.
