PHASE CORRECTION ON A SMALL REFLECTOR IN A DOUBLE REFLECTOR ANTENNA (Vozmozhnosti Fazovoy Korrektsii na Malom Zelkale v Dvukhzerkalnoi Antenne),

Abstract

The effect of the redistribution of energy in a double reflector system on the directive gain and noise temperature of an antenna with compensation of phase errors caused by deflections of the main (large) reflector by automatic correction of the shape of the auxiliary (small) reflector, is analyzed in approximations of geometrical optics. The maximum tolerable deformations of the reflectors for given deteriorations of the antenna characteristics can be determined on the basis of the results of the calculations. (Auhor)
