CRITICAL COMBAT PERFORMANCES, KNOWLEDGES, AND SKILLS REQUIRED OF THE INFANTRY RIFLE SQUAD LEADER: MINES, ANTITANK AND ANTIPERSONNEL, AND WARNING AND ILLUMINATING DEVICES.

Abstract

The paper deals with the employment of mines as obstacles and sets forth the performances, knowledges, and skills required of the Infantry rifle squad leader to educate, train, and practice his men in applying landmine warfare techniques and to plan, prepare for, direct, and supervise their performance of the various tasks they may be assigned when part of a mine laying unit. It covers, also, the same factors as they apply to the squad's use of warning and illuminating devices. (Author)
