Abstract
The performances, knowledge, skills, habits and attitudes covered in the paper are those the Infantry rifle squad leader must possess to train and lead in combat a rifle squad of the rifle platoon. Where the knowledge or skill in question is one which must be possessed by members of the rifle squad, it is assumed that the Infantry rifle squad leader is also qualified and motivated to train his squad to an acceptable standard of proficiency.
