Studies of Sulfur-Containing Organic Compounds.
Abstract
A brief summary is given of research on new reactions of interest in illucidating the chemistry of sulfur containing organic compounds. Maximum effort was given to three specific objectives: The scope and mechanism of the pummerer reaction; the syntheses and properties of the thiepin ring system; and the chemistry of dihalocyclopropyl sulfides.
