Semantic Message Detection Research for Machine Translation.

Abstract

A mathematic model of language is constructed in which syntactic and semantic markers are represented as points on syntactic and semantic factors of a finite product lattice. This model is interlingual. These theoretical ideas are applied to problems of simplified machine translation, and the method used depends upon an algorithm which divides text into phrasings and which has been programmed and used on extended texts.
