A Boundedness Theorem for Two-Dimensional Waves Over a Sloping Beach.

Abstract

The paper aims to make a direct contribution to the question of resonance of two-dimensional, bore-free waves on a continental slope of small, uniform inclination. The boundedness theorem obtained here shows that an unbounded solution is inconsistent with bounded initial and boundary conditions. (Author)
