Applying the Contact-Hydrodynamics Theory of Lubrication to the Study of Machine Parts (Collection of Articles),

Abstract

The contemporary state of calculations of the majority of machine parts is characterized by one-sided calculation of contact stresses and deformations with the absence of consideration of the effect of lubrication, or conversely, the effect of lubrication is considered, but deformation of friction surfaces is disregarded. This thematic collection is basically dedicated to the question of development and application of the contact-hydrodynamic theory of lubrication (removed shown one-sidedness) for investigation of the efficiency and service life of various machine parts. The articles included are results of works of a branch of the scientific research laboratory of institute during the last several years. (Author)
