Use of the Ice Channeling Plow for the prevention of Ice Barrages,

Abstract

The development of the ice channeling plow promises a considerable simplification of the task of ice barrage prevention at points on a river where ice transit is impeded. There now appears a real possibility of eliminating dangerous ice barrages on our major rivers or in the head regions of non-transfluent forebays or reservoirs. (Author)
