Method of Preparing Polyfluorinated Aromatic Carboxylic Acids,

Abstract

The method of obtaining polyfluorinated aromatic carboxylic acids by treating aromatic fluorinated hydrocarbons with fuming nitric acid with heating and separation of the whole product by known means is distinguished by the fact that in order to simplify the process it is carried out in the presence of a catalyst - boric acid or its anhydride - at a given temperature.
