Physical and Mechanical Properties of Glass--Reinforced Plastics,

Abstract

The physical and mechancial properties of domestically-produced glass- reinforced plastics are presented, based on abailable data including state standards and technical conditions for the most important types. Mechanical, physical and electrical testing methods are described. Detailed data are presented for domestic silicon, orgainic, polyester, phenol and epoxy plastics and the properties of principal- foreign-produced plastics are included as well. (Author-PL)
