Report of the Density Matrix Seminar.
Abstract
The August Seminar was the third of a series of meetings at Queen's University devoted to a discussion of the theory and application of density matrices to physics and chemistry. The meeting brought together about 40 research scientists from seven countries for an intensive series of lectures and informal discussions. The proceedings of this conference were published as a 450 page book and is volume 11 of the Queen's Papers on Pure and Applied Mathematics. The report gives a comprehensive bird's-eye view of the state of density matrix theory in 1967. (Author)
