Development of Division Logistics System. Country Store Procedures

Abstract

The stock accounting workload associated with repair parts supply, at the direct support level, can be substantially reduced through use of a Department of the Army approved technique called 'country store'. The study spells out country store concepts applicable to both divisional and non- divisional direct support direct support units in either a manual or automated environment.
