Electric Field Produced by a Long, Horizontal Electric Line Source Above an Inhomogeneous Surface.

Abstract

An approximate perturbation technique is used to derive expressions for the near and far electric fields produced by a horizontal electric line source above a periodically inhomogeneous surface. The periodically inhomogeneous surface might simulate, in a rather crude manner, a sinusoidal type of ocean surface. (Author)
