Preservation of Hides with Solutions of Sodium Chlorophenolates (Konservirovanie Skhur Rastvorami Khlorfenolyatov Natriya),
Abstract
Experiments were performed at the Yaroslayl meat combine involving the preservation of cattle and pig hides with solutions of sodium chlorophenates, with and without salt. It was established that hide preservation with sodium chlorophenolate without common salt resulted in an approximate saving of 16 rubles per ton of hides and that hides so preserved complied with appropriate State Standards.
