Low - Energy Proton Damage to Silicon/ Solar Cells.

Abstract

The effect of low-energy (<2 MeV) proton irradiation upon the junction properties of silicon solar cells has been measured. These measurements are used to explain the large power loss observed on the ATS-1 and Intelsat II-4 satellites. (Author)
