High-Resolution Spectroscopy of Small Molecules in the Gaseous State.

Abstract

A summary of the author's research is given. It includes the analysis of the formaldehyde singlet-triplet spectrum, techniques for the study of very weak transitions in gas phase molecules, a moderately well-resolved vibronic spectrum of benzene near 2000 Angstroms, and the affect of intermolecular interactions on the measured intensities of the red and infrared electronic transitions of 02.
