Analysis and Approach to the Development of an Advanced Multimedia Instructional System. Volume II. Appendix III - Media Cost Data.

Abstract

A model of an individual instructional system is developed as a basis for further analysis. Comparisons and trade-offs among the media are made to arrive at a recommended media configuration which could serve as a multimedia base for an individualized instructional system. Requirements and features of an automated management information and control subsystem to provide necessary operational control of the total instructional system are outlined and discussed. The main features of a generalized plan for the development of such a system are described. (Author)
