Thermo-Mechanical Behavior of Composites.

Abstract

Studies have been initiated on the strength characterization of fiber reinforced composite materials. An analytical and experimental program has been developed to examine two aspects of composite mechanical behavior: strength criteria under combined loading; and generalized stress-strain relations for inelastic response. In both cases, time (or rate) and temperature dependence of the behavior is included. included. (P.S.-PL)
