Neurotropic Effects in Relation to Chemical Structure.
Abstract
Derivatives of 11-aminoalky1-9-10-ethano-9,10-dihydroanthracene, 11-gamma-aminoproproxymethyl)-9,10-ethano-9,10-dihydroanthracene and 11-(gamma-aminorpopoxy)-9,10-ethano-9,10-dihydroanthracene were prepared. Also reported are efforts toward the synthesis of various bi-planar diphenylmethane derivatives. The resolution of atropine and N,N-dimethylamethyl-9,10-ethano-9,10-dihydroanthracene are described. The acute toxicities of 55 compounds are also listed. (Author)
