The Expost Evaluation of Federal Water Resource Projects in the United States

Several basic principles of expost evaluation are presented, followed by some examples of such evaluations performed on water resources projects constructed by the Army Corps of Engineers. The expost evaluations include not only an assessment of the effects of the projects on national income but also their contribution to redistributing income.
