Test Cases for Numerical Methods in Two-Dimensional Transonic Flows,

Abstract

In order to provide test cases for the development of numerical methods for the computation of two-dimensional transonic flows round aerofoils, 6 aerofoil shapes have been selected for which accurate solutions are available. These include both symmetrical and cambered profiles, non-lifting and lifting, in subcritical and supercritical (shock-free) flow. (Author)
