Integration of Mobility Support Forces Studies.

Abstract

The report contains a plan for the integration of six of the studies in the USAF Mobility Support Forces (MSF) Studies Program. The plan describes a systematic approach to determining the resource requirements of manpower, equipment, and facilities needed to perform mobility support functions at air terminals and aerial ports, which are part of the airlift system. The plan describes the analytical processes to be completed, the inputs and outputs, and the major decision points and covers the selection of worldwide aerial ports of embarkation and debarkation, unitization modules such as containers and pallets, unitization and break bulk locations, terminal processes, contingency air terminals and manpower requirements.
