Ultrastructure of Arthropod Sensory Structures.

Abstract

Ultrastructure studies have been completed on selected organ systems of (1) Macrocheles muscaedomesticae, a mite predacious on the immature stages of the house fly, (2) larvae of the house fly, Musca domestica, and (3) a tick, Amblyomma americanu. The project has assisted in the completion of a study on the sensilla of spiders. Research accomplishments will be detailed in scientific papers to be published in major journals. Abstracts of these reports and publication status are presented.
