Abstract
The report contains a summary of investigations on streamwise directed vortices in the period 1964-1970. Details are to be found in separate reports which are listed in the references. An attempt was made to review all the results obtained and to summarize the results in such a form that they give a complete picture of the present knowledge in the field. (Author)
