A Discussion on the Application of Modern Optimal Control Theory to a Power System.
Abstract
A computer program has been written to obtain the optimal control for a two-area linear power system for the megawatt-frequency control problem. This program has been used to analyze the results of two papers written by O. I. Elgerd and C. E. /Fosha, Jr. appearing in the April 1970 issue of Transactions on Power Apparatus and Systems.
