Asymptotic Wave FUNCTIONS Near Thresholds in the Presence of Long-Range Potentials,

Abstract

Many problems in non-relativistic collision theory reduce to the numerical solution of coupled systems of second order ordinary differential equations. Observables are related to the asymptotic characteristics of the solutions to these equations. In this paper, a new algorithm is presented for calculating the asymptotic solutions to such systems of equations at, and in the vicinity (above and below) of, thresholds. (Author)
