Humidity Generating Apparatus and Microscope Chamber for Use with Flowing Gas Atmospheres.

Abstract

A humidity generating apparatus and an atmospheric control chamber to be used with an optical microscope are described. The humidity generating apparatus simply provides for a mixing of wet and dry air by means of a gas proportioner. The chamber is designed to accommodate a standard microscope slide as the chamber floor. While the slide is in the chamber, changes in the specimen with variations in the humidity of a flowing atmosphere can be observed with an optical microscope. (Author)
