Structure and Magnetic Properties of Internally Oxidised Ferromagnetic Alloys.

Abstract

The aim of the work was to investigate the microstructure and magnetic properties of some internally oxidised ferromagnetic alloys. Such systems consist of a dispersion of fairly stable and inert oxide particles surrounded by a ferromagnetic metal matrix. Ideally they are suitable for use in the tests of theories of magnetic domain well--precipitate interaction coercivity and for use as mechanically stabilised 'soft' ferromagnetic material in high temperature applications.
