On Single-Valued Solutions of First-Order Differential Equations (Ob Odnoznachnykh Integralakh Differentsialnykh Uravenii Pervogo Poryadka),

Abstract

It is well known that a differential equation of the form P(z,w,w') = 0, where P is a polynomial of z, w and w', may only have entire transcendental solutions of finite order, and that there are methods which permit an estimate of the order of growth of a solution. In the present article, the author obtains results for the general case of single-valued (i.e., meromorphic) solutions in /z/ < R = or < infinity.
