The Use of Quasilinearization as an Identification Technique in Adaptive Control Systems,

Abstract

A complete adaptive control system is set up to evaluate the use of quasilinearization for identifying unknown system parameters with an on-line digital computer. The ability to accurately estimate a number of unknown parameters by sampling only one state variable is demonstrated and optimization of the factors affecting the identification is carried out. The overall technique is judged to be highly effective for a variety of applications. (Author)
