The Soviet Army Rear Supply and Logistics,

Abstract

The organization and duties of the Soviet Army Rear in the first few years after the second world war are detailed. The Army Rear was extensively reorganized in this period, and the new organization and personnel in command positions are noted. Such rear organizations as the food service, transport command, quartermaster corps and medical service are described.
