Low Frequency Ground-Wire Antenna.

Abstract

The impedance and radiation properties of a ground-wire antenna are analyzed using transmission line theory. For the purpose of computing these properties, considering the large number of parameters necessary to describe the antenna, a computer progam was developed. Several sample calculations are described, directed towards the design of an antenna for use with a low frequency stepped ionosonde. (Author)
