Charts for Equilibrium, Nonequilibrium and Frozen Flow Properties of Reacting Nitrogen in Hypervelocity Nozzles,

Abstract

The flow-property charts for pure nitrogen in a quasi-one-dimensional nozzle are presented. The flow conditions include chemical nonequilibrium in three different nozzle shapes as well as the corresponding equilibrium and frozen flow situations. The reservoir temperature range from 2000K to 13,000K is covered at intervals of 1000K. The reservoir pressures considered are 10, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000 atmospheres. (Author)
