Photographic Studies of Barium Releases.

Abstract

Photography of barium releases was performed by AFCRL from two sites, the primary purposes being to obtain quantative data on peak and integrated intensities and to study the spatial structure and dynamics of the releases by means of stereo techniques. High-speed photography of the release phase was also performed, and a preliminary analysis of the initial expansion mechanism is given. Sample photographs of the releases showing several features of interest are presented. (Author)
