An Algorithmic Description of Cut-Vector in Computation. The APT System.
Abstract
In the computer-aided determination of a three-dimensional path for numerical control machine tools, the APT-III approach is described algorithmically, as a contribution to a much needed formalization, both for theoretical and practical purposes. The fundamental case of only one cheek-surface with one single intersection is considered. More than thirty routines are described in a language patterned after ALGOL 68. (Author)
