Stability of South Jetty Siuslaw River, Oregon. Hydraulic Model Investigation.

Abstract

Tests were conducted on 1:50-scale models of jetty sections to obtain design criteria for rehabilitation of the south jetty at the mouth of the Siuslaw River, and for similar jetties at the entrances to rivers along the Washington and Oregon coasts. The tests were also concerned with evaluating a special method of stone placement, developed by the Portland District. (Author)
