A Mathematical Study of the Unfolding Problem,
Abstract
Basic Mathematical aspects of unfolding problems arising in experimental nuclear physics are discussed. Suggestions are made for determining the basis for evaluating existing and future unfolding techniques before adoption for individual problems. (Author)
