Abstract

The book is a popularized account of the 1969 spaceship flights 'Soyuz-4' and 'Soyuz-5' which performed docking maneuvers in space. The text is a compilation of verbatum TASS reports on the flight, interspersed with laudatory biographical sketches of the participating astronauts, and containing various expressions of greetings from foreign and domestic figures. The text concludes with a chronology of all significant Soviet space events. Pictures of the astronauts are included. (Author)
