Photochromic Memory for Computer Applications.

Abstract

Activity during this period has centered around the development of an improved technique for reading stored information from the memory system. A new technique has been developed that gives a much improved signal to noise ratio and makes possible the reading and regeneration of the stored information during a single light pulse. The improved discriminator system makes use of a beam splitter to divide the read light pulse between two photodetectors. (Author)
