The Complex Standardization of Magnetic-Tape Storage Units,

Abstract

Trends in standardization of magnetic-tape storage units for computers are analysed on the basis of a study in Soviet and foreign literature including ISO recommendations and CMEA draft recommendations. Primary objects for complete standardization of storage units are selected, their inter-connection and order of priority established. (Author)
