Numerical Weather Forecasts,

Abstract

The article traces the history of numerical weather forecasting, calling upon the works of Kibel', Blinova, Yudin, Buleyev, Kagan, Shvets, Meleshko, Shneyerov, and Rukhovets. Past and present studies in this field at the GGO (Main Geophysical Observatory) are discussed. (Author)
