Balloons (Meteorological)

Abstract

The objectives of this MTP are to determine the suitability of the test item for transporting aloft meteorological devices for recording atmospheric conditions or as a pilot balloon, for soundings during daylight and periods of darkness, and to determine compliance of the test item with the essential characteristics of the Qualitative Materiel Requirements (QMR's), Small Development Requirements (SDR's), and the Technical Characteristics.
