Antifriction and Wear-Resistant Cast Irons Used in Machine Construction

Abstract

The use of antifriction and wear resistant cast irons in machine construction is reviewed. Influence of graphites and alloying elements on their properties is discussed. Of major theoretical and practical value is the wear resistance study of Mn-contg. cast irons.
