INTERNATIONAL Relations Exercise,

Abstract

The simulation provides a framework around which participants attempt to formulate and implement policy. This policy evolves from a problem set provided to each of the simulated nations. From the information a strategic paper is written, along with a political aspirations paper. With a national profile thus established, the nations interact among each other and additional nations represented by the control team. An annual report is produced as a result of their interactions. The report includes economic and political data and provides each nation with a measure of national confidence in the administration. No attempt is made to draw conclusions or make predictions.
