Computation of Periodic Propeller Forces in Non-Uniform Flows Using a Lifting Surface Model.

Abstract

The report describes a method for calculating downwash effects of both radial and streamwise vortex systems of a propeller blade and applying these results as a correction to the prediction of the propeller blade characteristics utilizing a lifting line model. A computer program was developed using FORTRAN 4. (Author)
