Requirements for Reporting Performance Data on Research and Development Contracts

Abstract

During the past year, Air Force Special Projects Production Facility (AFSPPF) management personnel and, in particular, the management operations group, have undertaken efforts to improve contractor reporting. A study was directed at helping AFSPPF improve its capability for managing research and development (R+D) projects by improving its requirements for reporting contractor performance data. This final report is the product of the study and presents recommendations for improving contractor reporting of performance data and the use of that data by the facility.
