Optical Properties of Clouds (Opticheskie Svoistva Oblakov),

Abstract

A brief survey of the progress of study on optics of clouds is given. Primary attention is paid to theoretical work on transfer of radiation in clouds which determine principles of reflection and transmission of radiation by clouds without regard to the effect of extracloud atmosphere. (Author)
