Unitization of Automobile and Tractor Engines,

Abstract

The book contains an investigation of the problems of utilization of designs and standardization of the application of motor vehicle and tractor piston engines. As a result of analysis of domestic and foreign production of motor vehicle and tractor engines it was concluded of the practical possibility and economic necessity of significant reductions of types of engines which corresponds to the full extent to the intersets of production and operation. Introduction of the concept of the life cycle offers the possibility of using efficient methods of planning engine production. Analogous planning methods can also be used in other branches of machine building. (Author)
