Aerodynamic Interference.

Abstract

The rapid advances made in the past years relating to high speed flight have brought into clear focus the need for extensive component and integral treatment of the fundamentals of aerodynamic interference. The identification of new research and the need for a significant base of future development for aerospace vehicles are considered as an important point. The purpose of the specialist meeting was to survey a number of the more important aspects relating to aerodynamic interference and thereby to provide an understanding of the basic sciences involved, the techniques presently employed and the results of the most recent work in NATO countries.
